A direção do IBAMA, através da Coordenação Geral de Fiscalização (CGFIS), antes mesmo da greve dos servidores do órgão iniciar, começa a operar para acabar com o movimento. Já se encontra em Marabá, por determinação da Coordenação Geral de Fiscalização (CGFIS) o Sr. Peroto, contratado pelo PNUD, para que se cumpram as ordens baixadas pela Diretoria de Proteção do IBAMA (DIPRO). O Sr. Sérgio Suzuki, telefonou para o chefe da fiscalização de Marabá, ordenando que retirem todos os veículos da Gerência de Marabá e os levem para o Quartel do Corpo de Bombeiros daquele município. Há indícios que, por ocasião da greve que se avizinha, irão realizar prováveis operações durante a greve. Não há muitos detalhes sobre o que o Sr. Peroto irá fazer por Marabá além da retira dos veículos. Sabemos que há falta de recursos no órgão, mas como se trata de um contratado pelo PNUD, provavelmente este setor deve ter recursos para realizar operações, uma vez que tais recursos não dependem só do governo federal.
Cabe salientar, que a última em que a CGFIS e DIPRO realizaram esse tipo de intervenção em Marabá, ocorreu uma trágica situação do enfrentamento do comando de greve teve que fazer com a DIPRO, resultando no arrombamento da porta da sala de transporte por parte da DIPRO.
Neste sentido, vimos por meio deste, informar à CONDSEF, que a direção do IBAMA já começa a movimentar-se para atacar o movimento de greve do setor.
